Google Searches for Diversity

The world's most powerful technology company is putting its substantial resources behind the issue of diversity in technology. Through initiatives such as free courses at Code School,  the tech giant is hoping to increase the percentage of women in its own tech workforce and boost female participation throughout Silicon Valley as a whole. In May, Google opened up its books to reveal that 17% of its technology professionals are women.
